“ Don’t let sports talent go to waste - let it fight for freedom in fair competition!”
Freedom Sailors
The sea has been my soul’s home ever since I was this little boy.
The sea brings peace and calm, but it is only in the storm that you learn to sail.
We support individuals and clubs who teach respect and sportsmanship.
My name is Alex: the boy from the picture.
This picture was taken in Mariupol - the seaside town in Ukraine where my soul once felt at home and which is now in ruins.
But there will be a life after the WAR.
How our kids will behave toward each other should not depend on their nationalities or their race - it should depend on the values that we teach them!
Teach them respect, give them the freedom to make their own decisions, and make them settle differences in a fair competition.
Our Vision
Informed, engaged and tolerated sailors across the globe.
Our Mission
Freedom Sailors provides sailing instructors organisational support, thus giving these sailing mentors the freedom to focus on their core competencies: engage with new sailors face to face and transfer knowledge.
